On March 11, 2020 it was announced by the World Health Organization (WHO) that the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease that started in 2019 was officially considered a pandemic (Aslani, 2020)

Who is affected by COVID-19?

Everyone. All age groups can be affected by The Coronavirus!

It is the individuals categorized in the following where it is more serious and can cause death:

Individuals 40+ in age
Elderly individuals
Individuals who have respiratory compromises, cancer, type 1 diabetes etc...

What is COVID-19?

The Coronavirus also is known as COVID-19 is a virus that has turned into the biggest Pandemic of my life thus far. It has been confirmed that the Coronavirus is distributed through mammals, humans and birds.

The virus can be spread very easily. It has been stated that it can be spread airborne within 3-6 feet, spread through touching surfaces and then through touching the eyes, mouth, and nose.

Symptoms of The Coronavirus are as followed:

Cough
Fever
Difficulty breathing

Symptoms of The Coronavirus can take up to 14 days to appear after being infected.

In some cases the Coronavirus symptoms can be as followed:

Aches and pains
Nasal congestion/runny nose
Sore throat
Diarrhea

What happens if you get the Coronavirus?

It is a virus that causes "respiratory, enteric and neurological diseases, this includes:

Anything from a cold to more severe diseases
